Founded in 1980, Clean Control Corporation currently manufactures many cleaning solutions, including OdoBan The Original Odor Eliminator since 1980. Clean Control Corporation is a premier manufacturer of high quality cleaning products for household, institutional and commercial use worldwide.

Our Story

Stephen Davison is the founder, president and visionary marketer behind Clean Control, based in Warner Robins, Georgia. The history of Clean Control's manufacturing, distribution and corporate headquarters can be traced back to 1980. At the age of twenty-four, Davison started Mobile Wash of America (MWA), a successful government contractor with a focus on cleaning industrial equipment. Escalating chemical costs and the need for superior products led Davison on a mission to develop technologically advanced, cost-effective cleaning solutions. The flagship product was OdoBan The Original Odor Eliminator.

The first batch of OdoBan was actually mixed in Steve's bathtub in 1980. Being a 'bathtub chemist', Steve recruited the help of a friend, Cory Hammock. Cory is an experienced chemist and now Clean Control's Research & Development VP. Their original focus was to develop a highly effective product that was also cost efficient. The 'tub-trials' led the focus to concentrate-formulations, providing a way to cut down on shipments of 55-gallon containers of cleaning chemicals.

OdoBan was initially tested on used baby diapers: the ultimate test! Eventually, the team found something that really worked. The result was a biodegradable, multi-use product for cleaning, disinfecting, or deodorizing floors, counters, laundry, and numerous other surfaces in a home, or place of business. OdoBan-Odor Eliminator & Disinfectant was born.

OdoBan's unique qualities: performance, multiple-use, environmental safety and a signature eucalyptus fragrance - truly became the four cornerstones upon which a new Company would be founded. Clean Control was established in 1991, reflecting a revolutionary product line, and providing a clear and direct Company Mission Statement, which is: "Our Mission Statement is our name".

Clean Control Corporation's capabilities include manufacturing/shipping, distribution/logistics, marketing and promotional packaging, graphics, POS and display services for any of the products manufactured.

Our Founder
Stephen Davison's entrepreneurial spirit was no doubt sparked by growing up overseas, due to his father's Military intelligence career, and eventually settling in Middle-Georgia. Having both vantage points provided Davison a unique perspective and sincere appreciation for the advantages and opportunities available in the United States for entrepreneurial growth.

Davison's spirit was an absolute necessity in order to meet customer demands. As the growth and success of OdoBan-Odor Eliminator & Disinfectant began in the early 1990s, so did unique requirements from an ever-widening span of customers. OdoBan-Odor Eliminator & Disinfectant provided the springboard for the development of an OdoBan Family: a product line of superior and innovative cleaning, deodorizing and bacterial products based on customer dictates. The OdoBan brand has come to represent solutions for customer needs. Clean Control's customer base has grown as a direct result of its success in satisfying each individual segment which, today, includes: Household/Retail, Commercial, Institutional & Industrial, Wholesale, and Automotive customers worldwide. This market diversity is a tremendous testament to the effectiveness and quality of what Clean Control's Family of OdoBan products offer.

Davison continues to enjoy coming up with products and exploring new ideas. Davison’s commitment to his wife and five children is rock solid and he continues to remain very involved in his church and community. GOD is credited by Davison with giving him the ability to do everything through HIM and for the success of the company! Davison continues to seek HIS guidance for the growth of his company.

About Clean Control

Starting as a small business, the basic corporate philosophy has always been to go one step further. By taking that extra step, Clean Control provides the very best available every time. "We didn't just make a deodorizer ­ we developed an odor eliminator and disinfectant that cleans. We didn't just make something to mop up grease, we developed bacterial solutions that would eliminate grease, which was the basis for our bacterial line," says Davison. It's the extra step that not only keeps customers coming back ­ but also results in customers recommending Clean Control products to their clientele and colleagues.

Clean Control's successful evolution can be directly attributed to Davison's entrepreneurial zeal and to the steadfast commitment of the Clean Control Corporation Team ---- a group of creative, dedicated, hardworking, loyal individuals striving towards a common goal.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) developed a program called Designed for the Environment (DfE). In August of 2005, Clean Control received recognition from DfE for their first Green product, and then continued until it launched the first complete line of Green products offered to the public.
